Bet types
A bet type describes the mechanics of a bet. A bet type is always formulated in a specific question or statement. The associated prediction options then describe the possible answer to the question or statement. The bet is defined by answering the question using the prediction options. It should be noted that there are a variety of different bet types, each based on a different mechanism. The bet types, their mechanisms, and an example are all given in Forms of bet & Bet types.
Example: The “Exact result” bet type is selected for a tennis match. The betting question for this is “1st set – exact result”. With the prediction options, it is possible to answer the question of the bet using the prediction and thus bet on whether this prediction will prove correct.
