The surprise box
To make the instant-tickets-in-a-box shown here, we used the following materials:
- Tissue paper
- String
- Cardboard box with bow
- Double-sided tape
- Cellophane
- Various scratch cards
Time: approx. 15 minutes
Difficulty level: 2 / 6
Here’s how to make it:
Step 1
Fold or roll up the instant tickets – whichever you prefer. You can hold them in place using double-sided tape.
If you roll up the instant tickets, it’s better to wrap them in cellophane first so that the scratch-off coating isn't damaged by the sticky tape.
Step 2
Decorate the inside of the box with tissue paper, for example.
Step 3
Now thread the string through each of the tickets. You can spread the instant tickets across e.g. three pieces of string, so that all the tickets aren't hanging off just one piece of string, depending on how large your box is. You can also leave a small space between each of the tickets. If you want to, you can also add in small pieces of tissue paper, as in our example.
Step 4
To finish, stick each piece of string (that the instant tickets are attached to) to the inside of the lid. Now you can put the lid on the box to close it. Be careful that the tickets and string don't knot together.
