Scratch card pinwheel
To make the pinwheel, you’ll need the following materials:
- 12 Minisafe instant tickets
- 1 «Win for Life» instant ticket
- 1 skewer
- Sticky tape
- Double-sided tape
- Thick paper or card
- Gift ribbon
- Cellophane
Time: approx. 30 minutes
Difficulty level: 4 / 6
Here’s how to make it:
Step 1
Fold all 12 Minisafe instant tickets from a corner to form a 45-degree angle, i.e. so that the short side meets the long side. You can staple them along the edge to fix them in place.
Important: Please make sure not to damage the scratch-off coating.
Step 2
Now stick two instant tickets together at a time using a piece of tape (on the rear of the ticket), with equal spacing.
Step 3
Then put all of the pairs together to form a circle and fix them in place with tape.
Step 4
Now cut a circle (approx. 5 cm in diameter) out of the thick paper or card. Then use an awl to make two holes and thread the ribbon through the holes. Stick on three pieces of double-sided tape and glue the skewer onto the cardboard on the same side. Wait for the glue to dry completely before continuing.
Step 5
Now pull the ribbon through the middle of the prepared pinwheel, from the back.
Step 6
Using the double-sided tape you applied, stick the cardboard to the pinwheel.
Step 7
Now roll up the «Win for Life» instant ticket and wrap it in cellophane.
Step 8
To make sure the pinwheel stays together, you can now fix the «Win for Life» instant ticket to the front of the pinwheel using the ribbon.
Step 9
This is what your finished pinwheel looks like.
